Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) will support the Recruiting and Human Resources Team by handling administrative duties and participating in various aspects of the recruiting and hiring process. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations throughout the hiring lifecycle, from job postings to moving new hires to onboarding.

  • Basic understanding of relevant software, tools, and systems used in the corporate environment. This includes proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two (2) or more years of experience supporting Recruitment or Human Resources in an administrative role
  • Two (2) or more years of experience with applicant tracking or HRIS systems
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a fundamental requirement
  • Possess the ability to pass a background check successfully

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with iCIMS ATS and/or ADP
  • Experience with Service Contract Act (SCA) and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulation
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)
  • Previous government contracting experience

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 - $30.00

Responsibilities






Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform administrative tasks such as preparing offer letters and initiating background checks
  • Manage the full offer lifecycle, including creating offer letters, ensuring offer and job description details accuracy, and ensuring background checks are completed in coordination with Human Resources
  • Ensure a seamless hiring process for new hires by collaborating closely with HR and the Recruiting Team
  • Provide support on incoming contracts and transfers as assigned by TAC Supervisor, utilizing ability to successfully manage high volume workloads
  • Maintain recruitment documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in SharePoint
  • Create and review job postings to ensure compliance with local and federal regulations in collaboration with Recruiting and Human Resources
  • Generate reports from the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) to track recruitment metrics
  • Assist with iCIMS training for team members as needed
  • Monitor the ticketing system to answer candidate inquiries, troubleshoot iCIMS concerns, coordinate incoming contract job posting and offers, and additional needs as they arise
