Position Overview:
Coronis Health, a leading revenue cycle management company, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting. Experience in public accounting with a focus on audit is highly preferred, with a transition into industry accounting. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely on the East Coast, providing support to the AP/AR team and contributing to the company's financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Conduct general ledger accounting, including booking journal entries and managing accrued expenses.
• Collaborate with the AP/AR team to support invoice processing and payment activities.
• Lead the preparation of financial reports and analysis as needed.
• Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Take initiative in identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies or issues.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounting function.

Skills and Competencies:

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.
• Proactive attitude with a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on reconciliations and general ledger accounting.
• Strong background in public accounting with audit experience is highly desired.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle management or the healthcare industry is preferred but not required.
