Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works as part of a team to research, develop, deploy, and maintain software for use within the Company: designs, codes, tests, ensures quality assurance, debugs and deploys application system(s)
- Proactively provides feedback and suggestions for process and system improvement; ensures the changes will not jeopardize other applications, data or product areas
- Enables and ensures efficient and effective communication between team members and other functional area
- Effectively communicates and collaborates with various team members and others
- Works closely with the Business Analyst to gather and assess business information; translates into technical specifications and ensures new features do not jeopardize other applications, data, or product areas
- Shares and/or transfers skills, knowledge, and experience with other IT and business personnel
- Patriciates in the research, analysis, selection, and implementation of new tools and technologies
- Participates in project planning and estimation activities
- Prompt and regular attendance is required
Job Requirements:
- 7 years of progressively more complex experience in software development
- Experience managing software development and technical development tasks
- Experience with Agile development life cycle preferred
- Ability to work as a member of a collaborative team
- Ability to interpret internal customer requirements into detailed functional and/or design specifications and experience
- Experience with validation support and data management
- Requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and a commitment to quality work
- Ability to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends; be available off hours for on call support as required
- Comprehensive knowledge of large multi=office network engineering and telecommunications
- Ability to clearly and effectively present written information and findings
- Ability to work with other employees from different program area
- Minimal travel may be required
