Summary

The Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll cycles for the US, Canada, and EMEA payroll.  The Senior Payroll Specialist will work through complex payroll related matters, timekeeping, benefit and accounting functions, as well as general auditing and payroll tax.  A successful candidate will have strong payroll knowledge and experience, excellent customer service skills, be proactive and collaborate effectively with cross functional team members, possess strong organization and communication skills. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensures accurate and timely payroll processing for the weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll cycles for the US, Canada, and EMEA payroll.
  • Audit and calculate pay for status changes, new hires, transfers and promotions, terminations, PTO payout, and bonuses. 
  • Utilize system tools to import hours/earnings/deductions from various vendors and internal departments.
  • Assist with year-end processing W-2/T4 reporting and ad hoc reports for compliance and audits.
  • Provides prompt and excellent customer service by completing requests through our payroll ticketing system and other requests for information from departments and third party sources.  Fosters strong customer service relationships.
  • Researches complex payroll and timekeeping calculation and processing questions that may relate to garnishment processing, taxation, reversals, adjustments or off-cycle check processing utilizing in depth knowledge of the systems.
  • Stay current on payroll regulations and best practices.
  • Creates and updates documentation for payroll system related processes and procedures.
  • Anticipate process improvements to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Knowledge of Processing Payroll in all US states and Canada

  • EMEA payroll experience is a plus
  • Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now, ADP Vantage, Kronos and Workday is a plus
  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
