The Sr. Data Analyst will work cross-functionally within the D&A team, helping develop a suite of purpose-driven analytic reporting to maximize the health of our patients and the performance of our value-based care programs. You will collaborate through a diverse team composed of ACO leadership, IT, Quality, Care Management, and Ambulatory Operations to understand evolving requirements and business needs to build reports using payer and internal data.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Data Mining Conduct rigorous data mining and statistically sound analytical analyses to develop and report high quality actionable and quantitative information that will drive effective and integrated business decision making, enable interpretation of performance trends

  • Serve as a key resource to support value-based care analytics needs for the organization across clinical and financial performance reporting

  • Collaborate with ACO leadership (clinical and administrative) to deliver on data analysis, reporting, and decision support needs for covered patient populations

  • Focus on claims data management and provider analytical support to the provider, business, and clinical quality teams within our ambulatory and care management areas

  • Support ad-hoc reporting needs and perform related testing/data validation work as assigned

  • Opportunities Identify new opportunities to reduce unnecessary medical and administrative costs.

  • Methods Create dynamic and highly effective methods of data delivery and provide critical and insightful data.

  • Coordination Coordinate with line and support functions to provide the analytical support to critical operational effectiveness initiatives and to identify new opportunities for improvement.

  • Thought Leadership Develop expertise, thought leadership in the area of analytics, business intelligence and reporting, and provide new and innovative approaches to business data analysis and interpretation.

  • Presentation and Reporting Develop and execute presentations, reports and dashboards for middle and senior management use. Continuously improve the delivery of process performance information to all business partners.

  • Extracting and Processing Data Utilizes SQL, SAS, Tableau, R, etc. languages and technologies for the purpose of extracting and processing data for the business’s analytical needs.

  • Tracking Works with Project Manager to ensure a review and tracking process exists throughout the project life-cycle.

  • Improvement Recommends process improvement opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree

  • Required High School Diploma/GED

  • 5 years Relevant work experience Required

  • 5 years In this position specialty Preferred
