Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

The Senior Hardware Sales Specialist is responsible for driving hardware sales growth through the development and implementation of solution-based sales strategies in the Retail POS systems sector. Engaging with clients to deliver customized hardware solutions that address complex business needs, you will maintain long-term relationships and act as subject matter expert. Your deep product knowledge and consultative selling approach will allow you to effectively position our offerings to meet client objectives

Key aspects of a Hardware Sales Specialist role in Retail Tech with emphasis on CFR (Convenience Fuel Retail)

  • Sales Support:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to deliver hardware solutions such as Self-Checkout, Point of Sale and Edge Solutions.

  • Sales Consultant:

Engage in high-level consultations to uncover client needs and propose value-driven hardware solutions. Ensure alignment between client objectives and hardware capabilities

  • Sales Enablement:

Provide clients and partners training on the company's retail technology products, features, and value proposition. 

  • Sales Reporting and Tracking:

Monitoring and understanding key metrics around sales performance to drive execution of company targets.

  • Technical Expertise:

Possessing a strong understanding of the company's retail technology solutions and how they address the specific needs of different retail segments. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in hardware sales or equivalent roles.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and influence outcomes across different layers in the organization. Proven organizational agility
  • Strong bias for action and able to prioritize effectively in times of ambiguity.
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Salesforce and PowerBi

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in selling POS Retail hardware solutions.
  • Specialization in the CFR (Convenience, Fuel and Retail) market is required
  • Ability to influence and drive decisions in client engagements.
  • Experience in managing large-scale client accounts.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales management tools.

Salary Range:

$170,740.00 - $264,260.00
