Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for many areas of accounting and finance, including but not limited to monthly and year-end close processes, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, preparation of financial statements, payroll, budgeting and financial analysis.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements


• Ensure accuracy of accounting and financial data


• Analyze financial performance and cash flow


• Generate reports and financial analysis


• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts


• Research and resolve accounting issues


• Help to prepare tax returns, reports, and other required documents


• Monitor compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations


• Prepare audit schedules and provide information to external auditors


• Assist with budgeting and forecasting


• Generate reports for management


• Manage the payroll process.


• Assist in preparing project budgets


• Assist in analyzing project effectiveness


• Assist in preparing sales bids


• Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.


• Other tasks as assigned

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field


• Minimum 5 years of experience in a software development or project-oriented environment


• Must have experience in completing a month-end close


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills


• Must be detailed and deadline orientated.


• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. 


• CPA preferred
