Summary

Responsible for all aspects of sales support for local leaders and sellers within your assigned regional markets with high degree of sales system acumen. While working independently in your region markets, take direction from Team Lead and Sr. General Manager to execute a cohesive support methodology across the entire region with ability to back- up your regional colleagues. 

Responsibilities

  • Support sales leaders and approved sellers development of sales presentations, including research, demographics, My Market Analyzer (MMA), assembling PowerPoints etc.
  • Support sales leaders and approved sellers with local account management using advanced knowledge of provided sales tools including but not limited to Salesforce – CPQ, payment System, Ad Request, Cases, My Design Center, BlueVue, Launch and more! Level of support on accounts may vary to Include direct client contact for campaign execution. 
  • Act as first point of client contact for assigned house accounts including general management as listed above and managing contract renewals. Effectively communicate with clients on our full product suite, price changes and upsell opportunities. 
  • Act as first point of contact within your primary markets for seller sales tool questions and one to one training needs. Schedule training with alternate resources as needed.
  • Assist with Call Tracking Number and digital performance research and analysis. 

· Back up sales leadership with quote approvals, understanding rate card parameters, sales promotions and local client exceptions. Ability to question and investigate as needed. 

  • Liaison between regional sales and corporate support operating departments for all levels of change requests, investigation, issue resolution and research on market, seller or account related items. 
  • Manage deadline schedules and product inventory reporting, alerting sales of changes or concerns. 

· Assist the sales leaders with lead management for receipt and distribution of corporate leads, including receiving lead notification, assigning within “Speed to Lead” SLA, as well as reassignment of leads in Salesforce.

  • Support local Collections and A/R management, including reviewing and disseminating aging reports, monitoring Salesforce payment dashboards and assisting reps with A/R communications with clients as needed. Manage cut list process, ensuring new and 60 day past due clients are paid prior to mailing or removed.
  • Support rep offboarding and new rep operational onboarding, as well as supporting all sellers with ongoing training and support of Valpak products and management systems. 
  • Assist Lead RSSA, sales leaders and Sr. General Manager with the general administration of local markets inclusive of; tracking local sales contests, commission reviews, sales meetings preparation etc. 
  • Assist with data monitoring, collection and presentation for seller, market and region level requirements as assigned or requested ad-hoc by Lead or local sales leader. Utilize Business Intelligence, CRM Systems and excel for visualizations. 
  • Complete assigned projects as they are requested from Lead and sales leaders to support your regional markets. 

Qualifications 

· 2+ years of proven success in a sales support role

  • Experience in print and digital advertising sales preferred.
  • College degree is preferred, but not required.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Must be a results-oriented self-starter and have a record of success working in a goal-oriented, highly accountable sales      organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with emphasis on engagement and persuasion.
  • Intermediate level experience in Microsoft products inclusive of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.  Must understand basic excel formulas with aptitude to learn more advanced skills.  
  • Salesforce CRM experience. CPQ & Case management and report writing knowledge preferred. 
  • Ability to manage deadlines and to operate with a sense of urgency.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
