To support our growth, we are seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter to source, attract, and help onboard top nursing talent for both part-time and full-time roles.





Recruiter Job Summary:




The Healthcare Recruiter will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, specializing in the hiring of Registered Nurses (RNs). This role will require a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to building a pipeline of qualified candidates.




You will work closely with leadership to develop recruitment strategies that meet staffing needs and contribute to the company's overall growth. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and bring innovative ideas to our recruitment processes.





Key Responsibilities:





  • Sourcing & Recruitment:

    • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage supplemental, part-time and full-time nurses.

    • Leverage multiple recruiting platforms, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry connections.

    • Build relationships with nursing schools, alumni networks, and professional organizations to create talent pipelines.



  • Candidate Screening & Evaluation:

    • Review resumes, conduct phone/virtual screens, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.

    • Assess candidates’ skills, qualifications, and alignment with the company’s culture and mission utilizing provided tools.

    • Verify credentials, licenses, and compliance with state and federal regulations.



  • Onboarding & Retention:

    • Facilitate a seamless onboarding process in collaboration with HR and operations teams.

    • Work with leadership to ensure new hires are supported through their orientation and training periods.



  • Collaboration & Strategy:

    • Work with leadership to support forecasts of staffing needs and develop recruitment plans accordingly.

    • Provide market insights and data to refine hiring strategies.

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, recruitment best practices, and changes in healthcare staffing regulations.







Requirements and Qualifications:





  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (preferred, not required).

    • Minimum of 3–5 years of recruitment experience with at least 2 years focused on healthcare staffing or nurse recruitment is preferred.

    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment targets.



  • Skills & Competencies:

    • In-depth understanding of nursing roles, qualifications, and licensing requirements.

    • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

    • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed).

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates at all levels.

    • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.



  • Additional Requirements:

    • Knowledge of state-specific regulations governing private duty nursing is a plus.

    • Ability to adapt quickly in a startup environment and handle ambiguity with confidence.

    • Familiarity with employer branding strategies to enhance recruitment efforts.

    • Availability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate candidate schedules.
