The Cigna Medicare Sales Performance Improvement team is all about leveraging training and other learning solutions to elevate the performance of our sales teams and helping to meet Cigna Medicare’s industry-defining business goals and we need a skillful and passionate pro like you to help us architect the future.

What you’ll do:

  • Use your otherworldly design skills to create a variety of impactful learning solutions for a variety of audiences (broker, internal sales reps, supervisors, sales ops, and sales leaders etc.)
  • Leverage your exceptional facilitation skills to conduct highly interactive training sessions as needed for sales reps, sales managers, supervisors, and other sales staff
  • Coach sellers and sales mangers/supervisors to remove obstacles to high performance
  • Conduct training impact assessments and demonstrate value
  • Leverage training data to craft training interventions to close identified gaps
  • Manage training projects end-to-end
  • Work well within the team and across the organization to define learning solutions that address business priorities and bridge gaps in knowledge, competency, and skills for sales professionals
  • Keep up with Cigna strategy, compliance, industry changes and product enhancements
  • Provide strong, evident leadership both within and outside the team by organizing to drive action and results
  • Comfortably lead and organize amongst higher bands including leading efficient and effective meetings
  • Build and maintain working relationships with functional areas outside of the Department.
  • Take quick, decisive, informed action on issues or problems

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual – English and Spanish is required
  • High school diploma required. Master’s degree in Instructional Design or equivalent work experience in related field is highly preferred
  • Otherworldly design skills with proficiency in eLearning tools including Articulate Storyline and other learning technologies
  • Outstanding facilitation skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate product and sales material including product features, benefits, value proposition, positioning, and consultative selling skills
  • Expert/working knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug Plan, Employer Group plans and other Supplemental benefits
  • A successful track record in sales training in a corporate setting
  • Technology fluency required, including experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Data fluency required
  • Ability to transcend trends and conventional wisdom with innovative approaches

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 86,000 - 143,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
