Job Overview:
In this role you will be joining a business advisory team that undertakes forensic analysis and business valuation work for business and private clients. Through this role you will learn matters such as business valuations, modelling, dispute and litigation work and be able to provide written reports and advice on those findings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quantifying, analysis of both financial and non-financial information
- Modelling of financial information for business decisions as well as economic loss.
- Conduct research and analysis of a variety of business, industry and economic data.
- Constructing valuations of a wide range of businesses for both litigation and also business transactions.
- Assist in planning and management of projects.
- Ensure compliance with law and regulations in our investigations.
- Preparation of reports for both litigation and advice purposes.
- Work closely with legal teams and stakeholders
- Work directly to a partner.
- Have autonomy to manage projects and deliverables to deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, audit or public practice taxation.
- Proficient use of accounting systems and tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and lateral thinking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining complex financial concepts to non-accountants.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure situations.
- Continuing interest in learning and maintaining knowledge of economic, business and industry issues.
