Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients.  Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services.

We are recruiting an experienced GovCon Technical Writer to join our team.  Work is remote. The Technical Writer is a key role supporting our client, the US Government Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).  The Technical Writer supports our contract and is tasked with enhancing operational processes and documentation to support the objectives of the HRSA Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network Modernization Initiative.


POSITION DUTIES.  Primary job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain and update documentation of operational and system processes
  • Perform cost/benefit analyses of proposed changes to processes.
  • Participate in the administration of project and program activities, including meeting preparations.
  • Collaborate across teams to identify problems and devise solutions.
  • Produce and refine program documents, specifications, process flows, and test cases.
  • Analyze data and specify report packages for diverse audiences.
  • Support project leadership and stakeholders in prioritizing project deliverables.


KEY DELIVERABLES:

  • Contribute to Monthly Progress Reports.
  • Input into the Mapping and Re-Engineering Plans as needed.
  • Participate in bi-weekly conference calls and complete assigned action items promptly.
  • Assist in preparing ad hoc meeting materials and deliverables.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE. Applicants MUST have this experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in technical documentation, preferably in federal health programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.


EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with federal health programs is highly desirable.


WORK AUTHORIZATION:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
