We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to conduct complex financial assessments and credit evaluations for our financial advisory services contract supporting the Department of Defense Office of Strategic Capital (OSC) Loan Program Office (LPO). The ideal candidate will efficiently work on commercial and industrial loan transactions under general supervision by a Project Manager.
· Review financial and economic data for loan applications ranging from $10 million to $150 million.
· Produce financial due diligence requests for commercial and industrial borrowers, with an emphasis on manufacturing and related sectors.
· Develop risk assessments and draft financial recommendations.
· Conduct credit assessments that inform credit decisions and loan agreements documentation.
· Evaluate applicant's plan of finance and underlying economics, including detailed cash flow assessments.
· Analyze financial and business risks of corporate and public borrowers.
· Review contractual structures for equipment development, operation, and maintenance.
· Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive creditworthiness reports.
- Eight years of financial analysis experience with an undergraduate degree, or five years with a related master's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
- Strong analytical and financial assessment skills, particularly in commercial and industrial lending.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience in credit analysis and risk assessment for large-scale loans.
- Knowledge of manufacturing sector economics and financial structures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
