This is an in-person position 4 days/week. You must live in the St. Louis area.
The Leadership School is an educational option that prepares students to be in the driver’s seat of their own learning and to navigate the path toward the lives they imagine for themselves. We are the first public charter school in St. Louis County, paving the way for educational choice and opportunity for all families in the St. Louis area. We opened our doors in 2022 and serve K-4 students in the Normandy area. This Position
We are looking for a science teacher who will work with our 1st - 4th graders. You will have each group of students twice a week for an hour. You will have 1 day (Wednesday) of remote planning each week to ensure that you are planning for and delivering excellent instruction to our students.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement school-wide and classroom routines and procedures with fidelity to ensure a healthy learning environment
- Internalize and own provided curricula to deliver high-quality instruction every single day (Amplify)
- Prepare supplemental resources that lead students to a deep understanding of content
- Inspire high levels of student motivation and investment in meeting behavioral and academic expectations by implementing and maintaining clear and consistent expectations
- Analyze class and individual student performance, adjust lesson plans and instructional methods based on data, and create a long-term plan for unfinished learning
- Communicate clearly and often with families to ensure alignment between school and home expectations
