Overview


As a Data Analyst at Blu Ivy Group, you will play a crucial role in helping clients measure the impact of their employer branding and culture strategies. Your responsibilities will include analyzing data from various sources to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and highlight areas for improvement. You will collaborate with Blu Ivy Group consultants and clients to develop dashboards that provide insights into employer branding strengths and opportunities, including benchmarking data. Additionally, you will work closely with the People Analytics and Insights Lead to refine our dashboard and analytics capabilities, contributing to the development of a robust, real-time employer branding and culture analytics tool. Your work will be key in providing actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and enhance the effectiveness of clients' employer branding and culture initiatives.




Job Responsibilities



  • Analyze social media data, internal focused research data, and external market research to evaluate the effectiveness of our current employer branding initiatives.

  • Collaborate with our cross-functional teams in delivery, media and business development to help gather relevant data and insights for crafting compelling employer brand messaging.

  • Utilize data-driven approaches to identify the organization's unique strengths and values as an employer, differentiating us from competitors.

  • Help conduct external and internal research on industry best practices and market trends to inform data-driven employer branding strategies.

  • Craft state of the art reports and metrics that our clients and internal stakeholders will use to help guide them on their employer branding journey.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions and workflows ensuring smooth operations and timely issue resolution.

  • Be a self-starter, taking proactive initiative and ownership in our research methodology and data systems




Work Experience Requirements


Must Have



  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on HR analytics and/or research analytics

  • Proven experience in utilizing data analysis to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.

  • Ability to clean, analyse, interpret, and display data using different approaches using business intelligence tools

  • Proficiency with data visualization and data story-telling




Nice to Have



  • Familiarity with people metrics, media metrics, employer branding concepts, and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Developing and maintaining databases and data systems on cloud systems






Technical Requirements


Must Have



  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, preferably Tableau

  • Experience working with databases and conducting SQL queries for data extraction and pipeline creation

  • Experience with coding frameworks such as Python

  • Extract, Transform and Load (ETL / ELT) experience.




Nice to Have



  • Experience with cloud systems such as GCP, AWS or Azure, preferably GCP

  • Experience interacting with APIs for consumption towards Analytics




Educational Requirements



  • College or Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field
