Summary

 

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for delivery of all facets of recruitment, including daily sourcing recruitment duties, and attending career fairs. 

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Consistently attract and recruit diverse talent for key positions through various sourcing methods.
  • Build strong pipelines of potential candidates
  • Manage candidate tracking
  • Screen and interview potential candidates to assess qualifications
  • Recommend qualified candidates to recruiting team, coordinate additional interviews, and facilitate selection process
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all openings.
  • Ensure that potential candidates apply to positions through company website
  • Create, post, and manage job requisitions through Applicant Tracking system
  • Gain a solid understanding of forecasted hiring needs and how they relate to the overall Company business goals
  • Identify candidates via multiple methods such as internet research, advertising, referrals, networking, industry groups/events
  • Ensure that the job description for position being recruited for is accurate
  • Activities may include telephone-based, Video, or in-person interviews or administering pre-placements process; for example, knowledge or skill-based assessments.
  • OFCCP compliance throughout recruitment process
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for onsite nob interviews
  • Attend recruitment job fairs, school and/or community base recruitment events

Qualifications

Knowledge / Skills:

 

  • Proven sourcing experience and ability.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter Indeed, JS Firm and other talent sourcing platforms
  • Demonstrated good judgment and confidentiality
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Excellent time management, follow-through, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and ability to build relationships with all levels of management
  • Strategic and forward-thinker.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of social media and demonstrated usage of tools such all LinkedIn, Indeed etc.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to quickly assess candidate’s skills/qualifications and attributes and make placements/recommendations as appropriate.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (i.e,Paycom) and /or prior usage of HRIS system

 

Education and Work Experience

 

  • High School diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Three (3) or more years recruiting, headhunting and sourcing experience required

Some physical efforts required. Mobility to move around campus environment, sitting, carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, scooping and standing.
