Moonvalley is building the next generation creative studio, powered by the most capable video and image foundational models in the world. We are creating the platforms where the first generative Super Bowl ads and Oscar winning movies will be created.
We’re the most pedigreed team in generative AI, with top former Deepmind video researchers leading a research team as deep as any in the industry, product leaders who have built some of the best software products in the world, and an in-house Oscar-nominated movie studio. We’ve also raised $75m from world class investors including General Catalyst, Bessemer, Khosla Ventures & YCombinator.
Job Summary:
You’ll be Moonvalley’s first dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner, focusing on AI Research positions while broadening to wider tech and non-tech roles. Reporting to our Senior People Operations Manager, you’ll collaborate to scale Moonvalley’s team, refine our hiring strategies, and elevate our employer brand.
This role is London-centric, with flexibility to work largely asynchronously. We anticipate about one day per week in-person and regular team offsites. As part of a highly distributed global team, you’ll enjoy plenty of flexibility but will need some evening availability to collaborate across time zones, especially with our West Coast North American teams.
What you’ll do (responsibilities)
Global end-to-end recruitment for technical talent, focusing on AI Research positions
Collaborate with hiring managers to define roles and streamline hiring processes
Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future needs
Manage relationships with third party recruiters
Enhance our employer brand to attract top talent globally
Track recruitment metrics and ensure compliance with hiring policies
Promote diversity and inclusion in candidate sourcing
What we’re looking for (qualifications)
The ideal candidate for this role should possess:
Proven experience recruiting AI Research positions
Experience enhancing recruitment processes for efficiency and scale
Global recruitment experience particularly in European and North American focus
Familiarity with ATSs (we use Ashby) and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
In our team, we approach our work with the dedication similar to Olympic athletes. Anticipate occasional late nights and weekends dedicated to our mission. We understand this level of commitment may not suit everyone, and we openly communicate this expectation.
If you're motivated by deeply technical problems, a seemingly never-ending uphill battle and the opportunity to build (and own) a generational technology company, we can give you what you're looking for.
All roles at Moonvalley are either fully remote by default or hybrid positions if specified. We meet a few times every year, usually in London, UK or North America (LA, Toronto) as a company.
If you're excited about the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technology and help shape the future of media and entertainment, we encourage you to apply. We look forward to hearing from you!
