Provide efficient, reliable support to the finance/accounting team (both within IDEMIA NSS and IDEMIA North America), other departments, and external parties. Seeking a team player who exhibits a positive attitude, and effectively coordinates, collaborates, and communicates with NSS colleagues and partners. The ideal candidate has accounting experience working for a government contractor. This position can be a remote/hybrid opportunity.Responsibilities:
- Processes weekly timesheets and any adjustments needed in Deltek Time & Expense 10.
- Sets up new users, gives access to Deltek Costpoint, assigns permissions based on employee’s role with the company and licenses/seats to Deltek Time and Expense 10.
- Creates new pay types as needed and assigns the charge codes to employees.
- Creates bi-weekly payroll file, obtains approval, and submits it to the payroll team.
- Reviews and reconciles PTO balances monthly, makes necessary adjustments.
- Process monthly invoicing.
- Apply Cash Receipts
- Provide weekly Collections report.
- Create Project codes as requested by Project managers.
- Maintain and reconcile project invoice funding.
- Records monthly lease depreciation expense according to IFRS16.
- Maintains accounting ledgers, reviewing account transactions, and creating monthly adjusting journal entries.
- Reconciles and analyzes balance sheet accounts assigned monthly.
- Performs bank reconciliation activities.
- Ensures comprehensive accounting records are maintained in an organized manner, including scanning and electronic filing of backup documentation.
- Assists the finance/accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, and assisting with month-end activities, monthly internal control and mid-year and year-end financial audits.
- Prepares account analysis and report on general ledger account details, as needed.
- Plans, schedules, and organizes work independently to complete tasks within designated timelines while balancing multiple priorities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Deltek Time & Expense is a must.
- Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation.
- Experience and knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in support of the government contracting services industry.
- Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong math and research skills.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft programs, particularly Excel.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to analyze data accurately and efficiently.
