Real Chemistry is looking for a Senior Medical Writer to join our growing team!
As a Senior Medical Writer at Real Chemistry, you will be working across several therapy areas to create a range of HCP educational materials, ensuring the language and content is appropriate for the target audience. Naturally your work will be of the highest quality, scientifically accurate, and aligned to the relevant brand.
This role can be remote in the US or in any of our US offices.
What you’ll do:
Perform rigorous literature-based scientific research, with the ability to efficiently draw conclusions about the landscape relevant to project objectives
Develop clear, accurate, and persuasive scientific and medical content for a variety of formats, including slide deck presentations, publications, videos and other digital media
Assume a supervisory role on select projects, providing feedback to other medical writers and account colleagues
Join client calls related to assigned projects and lead discussions about content in client-facing settings
Annotate materials and highlights references for client medical review
Develop content for new business pitches and participate in pitch presentations as requested
Confidently translates scientific/medical information for non-scientific colleagues on the Real Chemistry team

Required skills and experience:
Prior experience in a Medical Writing role within an agency environment
Educated with at least a Master’s degree level in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy or a related discipline. An advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD) is preferred, but not required
Proven ability to work under pressure as business needs arise and juggle multiple deliverables across multiple accounts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with good attention to detail
Demonstrates excellence in clear, succinct scientific writing directed towards a general physician audience. Able to calibrate tone and complexity for select targeted audiences
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Pay Range: $95,000 - $110,000
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
