We’re growing fast and as a result we’re looking for a Revenue Accountant to support two of our UK Subsidiaries office. Reporting into the Finance Manager, the role will be responsible for two of the UK Subsidiaries reporting, supporting the client teams and providing support to the local and group finance function.   

Key responsibilities:


  • Full ownership of the monthly management account process. You will be responsible for the preparation and quality of two of the UK Subsidiaries monthly management accounts pack. 

  • Prepare and review revenue recognition entries in compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP). 

  • Monitor and reconcile revenue accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. 

  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing analysis and insights on revenue trends.


  • Overseeing project finances including the monthly revenue and cost recognition. 


  • Reviewing debtors and liaising with client teams to ensure debts are recovered in a timely manner.  


  • Working with FM to implement and develop control and processes across the group. 


  • Supporting the Finance Manager with the monthly re-forecasting process across the group. 


  • Completing the year-end close, including working with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process. 


  • Through analytical review, producing commercial insight into key data and business drivers on a regular basis for group finance. 


  • Producing the quarterly VAT returns. 


  • Working with other group companies to ensure that the inter-company position is reconciled monthly. 


  • Building strong relationships with all stakeholders and acting as a professional face of the company. 

Experience / skills required


  • CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified/part qualified 


  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of accounting principles and practices 


  • Experience of working with formalised monthly reporting processes 


  • Experience of marketing agency operations and financial processes 


  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills 


  • Experience with accounting and project management systems. 


  • Good understanding of revenue and cost recognition processes 


  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines and to act on own initiative 


  • First class communication skills, competent at communicating at all levels with both finance and non-finance teams
