Description

  • Interviews program managers and other technical personnel to capture the required elements needed to develop technically compliant information.
  • Develop compelling approaches and methodologies that demonstrate our understanding of the customer requirements and business needs.
  • Assist with the development of win themes and discriminators.
  • Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
  • Researches and collaborates with RELI technical and business professionals on the most effective way to present proposed approaches and solutions and substantiate any claims.
  • Writes clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections; translates technical and other ideas into easily understandable text; rewrites and reviews proposal sections and related proposal documents.
  • Supports development of technical and management white papers and responses to requests for information (RFI) and sources sought notices (SSNs).

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team on various tasks.
  • Skilled at organizing and translating information into clear written documentation; articulating complex concepts and processes in writing.
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and effectively interact with a wide range of personnel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written language communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible working hours needed for proposal preparation, including extended hours, evening/night hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proven ability to effectively research subject matter.
  • Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and the tools that support it: Application Development, Cloud Services and/or IT Security, etc.
  • Minimum 5-years of IT proposal writing experience as a lead writer on the federal technical proposals.
  • 4-year degree in a related field (e.g. English, Journalism, Business Writing, etc) or equivalent work experience in a Federal Government proposal environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and write about complex topics.
  • Excellent English language, grammar, and spelling skills for writing, editing, and proofreading.

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $115,000.00. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
