What you’ll do with us:
The candidate will be an important part of our team, assisting in the development, testing, and maintenance of our enterprise-level ASP.NET web applications. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a supportive environment. The candidate will work closely with more experienced developers and will gain hands-on experience in software development and support.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise-level ASP.NET web applications.
- Collaborate on developing new features, functionalities, and modules.
- Support application performance optimization and implement secure development practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions under guidance.
- Participate in product standups to report progress and discuss tasks and any blocking issues.
- Engage in code reviews with team members to build skills and ensure code quality.
- Provide basic technical documentation based on functional designs.
- Stay current with company standards and relevant technical training.
Who you are:
- 1-2 years of recent development experience with an understanding of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, HTML5, and the .NET Framework.
- Basic experience with or willingness to learn MSSQL and working with stored procedures.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio and an understanding of source control systems such as GIT.
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to work collaboratively.
- Good organizational skills and a desire to develop effective time management.
- Enthusiastic about solving technical problems with the support of mentors and teammates.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Familiarity with REST-based APIs or a willingness to learn.
- Interest in secure development practices and learning about software patterns.
What We Offer
- The ability to work from anywhere in the United States, this position is primarily remote, with travel required once per year.
- The compensation range for this role is $70,000-$75,000
