Middle School English Teacher

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking a candidate for daytime IN PERSON English teaching for the 2024-2025 school year. THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE POSITION. This opportunity is perfect for a passionate teacher who is looking to make a difference in the lives of students.

Type: IN PERSON POSITION, teaching up to 17 students at a time

Schedule: Daytime hours, 7:45 - 3:45 P.M. Monday through Friday IMMEDIATE OPENING
                  teaching 3 periods a day plus a planning period

Description/Clientele: 7th Grade Middle School Students
you will be the teacher of record
teaching of grade material, grading, and coordination of curriculum with other faculty members
conduct parent teacher conferences

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of teaching, excluding student teaching, of grade level being requested
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
• Must have experience in and proficiency with written documentation regarding lessons and student progress, as well as assignment grading. 
• Must be a good communicator to build rapport with the students and parents.
• Must be available for daytime teaching between the hours of 7:45 - 2:45 p.m. in the Wilmington, DE area
• Must have reliable transportation
• Teaching certification is a must for grade and subject area.
• Prefer for the candidate to be no more than 30 minutes one way to school location in Wilmington, DE 19808
