As part of Givaudan Taste & Wellbeing, the Taste and Functional Ingredients business team uses decades of experience in ingredients to assist food and beverage companies in product formulation. Our global team of sales, technical experts, customer service and marketing representatives combine their knowledge and expertise in ingredients, including functional botanicals, preservation ingredients, fruit and vegetable powders, wet vegetable products and texturisers.


 


Reporting to the Director of Sales Taste and Functional Ingredients, NOAM, you will manage and grow your accounts through top and bottom lines and by generating a broad base of new business opportunities. Givaudan Taste and Functional Ingredients brings the highest quality ingredients from the Naturex product line, which is now part of Givaudan. This role is home-based (remote), with Midwest, South East or South West locations noted as preferred.


 



  • Strategic Engagement: Cultivate customer relationships with important decision-makers, positioning us as a preferred supplier and ensuring we are positioned to participate in RFPs, briefs and on core supplier lists. We are focused on delivering a positive customer experience through innovation, collaboration, and service.


 



  • Account Management: Lead and influence strategic account planning. Develop comprehensive action plans for main accounts. Develop thoughtful understanding of customer potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning strength and weaknesses, and competitive data. Manage brief pipeline to achieve growth plans.


 



  • Negotiate and Collaborate: Strategically manage large commercial projects. Ensure visibility and exposure for us at customers by maintaining and guiding appropriate call frequency with essential 2/2 product demonstrations and technical to technical interface. Follow up on customer inquiries. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements following company guidelines.


 


You?



  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Management, Marketing or Food Science.

  • 6+ years experience in sales, marketing or customer relationship experience in food or related industries.

  • Experience incorporating comprehensive knowledge and analysis in presentations.

  • Understanding of the ingredient industry, including consumer and industry trends.

  • Knowledge of customer strategies, programs, commercial needs and product launch processes and competitor activity.
