What we are looking for: We are seeking a Financial Analyst II who will be responsible for financial planning and analytical processes that can help solve complex business problems within STARS and ARS. 


Responsibilities:

  • Work on daily financial analytical requests from all of our departments; providing deliverables back to the requestor in a timely manner.
  • Conceptualize business issues and provide financial expertise to support STARS and STARS’ customers; leadership, physicians, professional committees, hospital partners, or various other STARS personnel.
  • Assist with the development of financial materials for various committees and boards for STARS and STARS’ customers.
  • Develop revenue and cash forecasting techniques for accrual accounting.
  • Maintain ongoing revenue forecasts, budget to actual variances, and price volume comparisons.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of new opportunities and special projects.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the Financial Analyst I on projects and initiatives that are assigned.
  • Design corporate financial dashboards in an agile development environment that empower users to draw actionable insights out of financial data.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis activities is required.
  • Database and SQL experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • Significant experience with computers and software applications as well as proficient in Microsoft Office products; in particular MS Excel.
