POSITION:Financial Analyst I

 

REPORTS TO:Sr. Manager, FP&A

 

SUPERVISES:None

 

JOB CLASS:Exempt

PURPOSE:

 

The Financial Analyst supports the FP&A function by providing the necessary reports and analytics to make sound business decisions to drive revenue and EBITDA.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

·          Build and maintain daily and weekly reports in Excel.

·          Perform monthly variance analysis on key financial statements.

·          Ability to work with large datasets to decipher and translate business trends.

·          Create ROI analysis and models as needed.

·          Create financial and operational decks monthly.

·          Assist in the preparation of the monthly forecast and annual budget.

·          Create what-if scenario models for key financial statements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

 

Experience:

 

  • Advanced Microsoft Suite Required
  • Power BI preferred

 

GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

General office working conditions can be remote work from home or in the office. Each department head determines if position is work from home or hybrid meaning works from home and in the office as needed. Work hours vary based on business needs. When working in the office pod workstation area has little or no privacy. Involves extended periods of sitting at a workstation performing computer duties. Constant flow of interruptions by personnel, visitors to the area and telephone calls. Private workstations are available as needed. Certain positions are assigned to an office. Occasional (less than 5%) business travel may be required.
