About the Role

Join our finance team as a key contributor, helping to oversee project finances, billing, and collections. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll play a crucial role in reviewing and reporting on project budgets and ensuring smooth invoicing and debt management. This position is also responsible for keeping project finances on track, supporting monthly financial close processes, meeting compliance deadlines, and overseeing accounts payable and payroll. You'll be the go-to expert for accounting technology, working to optimise our systems and processes while maintaining the highest standard of financial integrity.

Covalent Land Australia is a subsidiary of Group 14 Carbon Solutions and works closely with its other related entities. This role will work across the Group.

About You

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you:

• Hold undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in accounting from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or have extensive experience required for the role as described above).
• Have solid experience in accounting, with a focus on project accounting and/or financial reporting.
• Are experienced in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and external stakeholders across Australia.
• Understand ATO and external reporting requirements, including payroll tax and workers compensation.
• Have a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
