We report on developments in the global solar PV and energy storage industries, solar-related green hydrogen generation and heating systems (heat pumps), and regional solar PV and storage markets. We are looking for


pv magazine USA is looking for an Editorial and Marketing Assistant (f/m/d) based in the U.S. to join our U.S. team remotely. You will work closely with the pv magazine editorial team and assist with preparation for industry events, support social media and other marketing activities, contribute to special projects, and more.



Your responsibilities


Editorial Support:
  • Assist the editorial team in researching and fact-checking content for articles, reports, and other publications.
  • Help manage the editorial calendar, ensuring deadlines are met for various publications and projects.
  • Reach out to clean energy technology manufacturers and other key target groups to gather information and keep critical industry databases up-to-date.
  • Assist the editorial team in reaching out to industry multipliers to help extend the audience of pv magazine USA.
  • Support in coordinating special projects, such as special print editions, joint projects with industry partners, or sponsored content initiatives.
Event Preparation and Coordination:
  • Attend events across North America as needed, offering on-site support and assisting with post-event reporting and analysis.
  • In coordination with the Events Team, provide the U.S. editorial team with logistical support for industry events, including conferences, webinars, and trade shows, such as preparation of presentations, arranging meetings, and maintaining schedules.
Marketing Support: 
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team in Berlin to manage pv magazine USA’s social media accounts by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring trends.
  • Support the development of marketing materials, including newsletters, email campaigns, and promotional content.
  • Ensure consistency of the corporate identity across marketing campaigns.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Administrative and General Support:
  • Handle general administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining records.
  • Assist with organizing and managing the content archive, ensuring easy access and retrieval of materials.
  • Support other team members as needed, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
  • Work to advance the readership of pv magazine USA and also contribute to pv magazine media group as a whole.




Your profile


Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Additional coursework or certifications in digital marketing, content creation, or project management are a plus.
Experience: 
  • 1-2 years of experience in editorial support, content creation, marketing, or related fields. Internships or part-time roles are considered valuable experience.
  • Familiarity with the renewable energy sector or B2B publishing is advantageous but optional.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools, including content scheduling and analytics.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles, including SEO, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Basic design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English. Other languages will be viewed favorably.
