Cority is seeking a Digital Marketing Web Developer to manage the most technical aspects of our marketing website(s) performance and optimization. The overarching focus of the position encompasses front and backend web expert guidance, project and resource management, and hands-on development. This role is also responsible for the smooth and accurate operations between analytics tools, channel platforms, marketing automation, & CRM.  

From site speed to technical SEO, to advanced GA4 & GTM implementations, to full stack hands-on development and project management, to CRO, the right candidate for this role must have both the technical acuity and broad vision into digital web marketing & operations’ industry trends, best-practices, challenges, and solutions. Moreover, they must enjoy and thrive in the nuance of mastering the Google, Bing, and WordPress ecosystem of tools and tech stacks. 

As our Digital Developer, you'll be the architect of our digital success story.  And there is ample opportunity to lead and manage meaningful web and analytics work while collaborating and building alongside a talented and energetic team of creative marketers. 

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provides technical leadership and collaborates with a cross-functional marketing team and external resources to design & deliver high-quality and highly optimized marketing website(s) and digital experiences 
    • Lead, manage, and execute the day-to-day development, enhancement, and optimization of the front-end and back-end solutions for marketing/corporate web sites 
    • Laser-focused on the performance of websites as the portals for audience insights through analytics, pipeline generation, and to provide subject matter expertise via accessible and engaging content 
    • Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to pro- and retroactively implement system enhancements 
    • Ensure all aspects of web analytics platforms are functioning optimally in terms of data in, data out, and insights availability 
    • Utilize available data from digital analytics tools to explore trends bringing insights and potential action plan to the team 
    • Ensure cookie and data retention policies are continuously up-to-date, optimized, and functioning properly in order to support global compliance law and enhance overall user experience of our web properties 
    • Troubleshoot, test, and edit websites for functionality, usability, and compatibility across different browsers and devices 
    • Apply continuous improvement to website and customer journey via engaging user experience for conversion rate optimization (CRO) 
    • Document website design and development processes, including specifications, guidelines, and best practices 
    • Collaborate with creative, content, search, advertising, demand, and operations marketing team members to develop on brand, on message, and compelling moments for the Cority audiences 
    • Continuously review existing systems alignment with stakeholder requirements and performance, optimization, resilience, and security risks. Identify problem areas and develop solutions. 

Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of recent and direct work experience managing WordPress 
    • Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience managing, optimizing, and executing technical SEO  
    • Advanced skillset in HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, and server-side web development to include working knowledge of htaccess, robots.txt, cache, CDN, etc. 
    • Robust experience with streamlined operations and integration with Content Management Systems (CMS) 
    • Demonstrable experience with UX principals & techniques 
    • A professional dedication to write/create clean, maintainable, reusable, and performant code 
    • Working knowledge of current programming techniques and best practices for optimizing website performance and security 
    • Advanced skillset in Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager setup, optimization and reporting 
    • Advanced cookie consent knowledge and practice 
    • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve web performance bottlenecks 
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment 
    • Ability and experience manage and working alongside external web developers and internal operations resources 
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
    • Experience building lightweight, responsive layouts in collaboration with UX Designers and can share portfolio of relevant sites built and managed within last 5 years 
    • Intrinsically motivated to solve technical challenges
