Copywriter

Responsible for the evolution of sales for products/brands of the Company. Leads cross functional teams to achieve the Company's vision for reinventing home services. Problem solver who brings exceptional creative and analytical skills to develop best in class products and customer experiences. In this role, you will plan, research, develop, write, edit, and publish content within brand standards and organizational objectives.


What you'll do:

  • Writes copy for websites, blogs/articles, social media posts/campaigns, emails, collateral, videos, training materials and more
  • Develops and manages timelines for the end-to-end process from intake of request, receiving copy and images, loading into CMS, and publishing to the site
  • Works closely with the digital marketing team to create content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, sells, and provides information, across a wide variety of digital platforms
  • Conducts research and develops expertise in the brand
  • Uses SEO and content development knowledge to create digital content that helps us get found via search engines, and showcases our brands as leaders within industries
  • Utilizes editing, content management, and HTML skills to publish and edit content across various digital platforms
  • Generates human-centered storytelling using SEO-friendly methods within brand standards
  • Develops and maintains a content calendar and plan in alignment with business goals and seasonality of the industry
  • Writes copy for promotional literature, marketing collateral, media advertising, websites, and internal and external publications designed to boost brand awareness and increase sales. Coordinates layout with the art department. May estimate production costs or work with outside vendors
  • Conducts expert interviews with both internal and external contributors to obtain information and verify statement and copy accuracy
  • May work with third-party content platforms or industry websites to provide guest created content
  • Generates requested reports to show marketing value and ROI. These may include but are not limited to, impressions, page views, downloads, or other valued metrics
  • Clearly communicates roadmaps, priorities, and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels


What you bring:

  • Proficient knowledge of AP writing style
  • High degree of ownership and accountability
  • Capable of working cross-functionally across teams
  • Ability to balance multiple projects, assignments, and launches simultaneously within a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
  • Ability to gather and scope out enhancement ideas and requirements
  • Ability to work with technical staff to communicate issues
  • Ability to adapt graciously to rapidly changing, time-constrained launch schedules
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and patient
  • Possesses creativity and originality
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to handle basic issues and problems and escalates more complex issues
  • Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Minimum of 0-5 years of experience 


Work Location: This role is 100% remotely based.
