As the Business Development Lead, you are responsible for developing new partnerships and growing, optimizing, and finding new opportunities for existing partners. You will have team-based quarterly revenue and P&L targets, where you are expected to manage performance towards those goals.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- In concert with the group head, drive business development strategy for the team. This includes a clear set of next steps for the team to hit quarterly, half-year, and full-year goals.
- Create, manage, and oversee a pipeline of revenue opportunities that range from net new ABM publishers, email campaigns, content deals, turndown campaigns, etc.
- Own data passback initiative for ABM. Develop documentation for new partners to utilize this important benefit.
- Manage a team of AEs for outreach and management of ABM partners
- Work with ABM AEs to develop a standing Half-Year business review for the largest ABM partners. This includes creating and executing an appropriate format. Lead and conduct QBRs and ABRs with ABM’s strategic publisher partners
- Work with Sales to pitch and secure MG advertisers’ payouts and budgets for specific ABM publishers and placement opportunities.
- Work with Sales on reporting quality metrics for premier MG advertisers to ensure that quality continues to meet expectations.
- Liaise between ABM and Sales, attend weekly sales meetings, and present 1-2x a quarter on most recent opportunities.
- Identify growth opportunities with existing partners and drive the execution of these opportunities.
- Interpret campaign data and succinctly communicate an actionable plan to internal and external stakeholders succinctly.
- Work cross-functionally across Sales, Legal, Product, Finance, and Technology departments to drive the business forward.
- Troubleshoot and respond to partner issues in a timely manner.
- Develop a deep understanding of our internal systems to serve internal and external stakeholders better.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in sales, account management, digital marketing, advertising, or media.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; experience managing multiple and diverse client accounts.
- Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Online Advertising, including Google Analytics, SEO best practices, Affiliate Marketing, Lead Generation, and/or Native marketing.
- Proven track record in digital marketing account management and sales

This job's annual base salary range is $120,000 - $160,000.
The offered salary may vary within the posted range based on factors including, but not limited to, education, skills, experience, training, job responsibilities, and location.
