Job Posting: Full-Time Bookkeeper/Controller (Proficient in QuickBooks)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper/Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in QuickBooks and extensive experience managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and overall financial operations. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes and providing key insights for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry and reporting in QuickBooks.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Support external audits and prepare financial documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Controller, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
