We are currently looking for a Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering justice and fair compensation to those we serve.
As a proficient Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, encompassing entries for purchases, sales, receipts, expenses, and payments. You will collaborate extensively with our accounting team to generate and review financial reports and ensure compliance with legal standards. Your duties will also include processing accounts payable and receivable, managing invoices, and handling tax payments. Ultimately, your role is to ensure the accurate documentation of our company's daily financial transactions.
Key Responsibility
- Manages financial record-keeping by establishing accounts and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Designs a system for financial transactions with a detailed chart of accounts and defined bookkeeping policies.
- Maintains accuracy in subsidiary accounts by verifying and posting transactions and reconciling entries.
- Keeps the general ledger updated and balanced through regular transfers and reconciliations.
- Preserves all historical financial records through effective document management.
- Produces financial reports by analyzing account information to identify trends.
- Ensures adherence to all federal, state, and local legal requirements by monitoring changes and filing necessary reports.
- Supports team objectives by contributing to necessary tasks and outcomes.

Requirements - Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping 4+years.
- Strong grasp of fundamental bookkeeping and principles of accounts payable/receivable.
- Established skills in computing, posting, and overseeing accounting figures and financial records.
- Proficient in data entry with a strong numerical aptitude.
- Practical experience with spreadsheets and specialized software.
- Fluent in English and proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Customer-focused with excellent negotiation abilities.
- Exceptional accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
