Location: Wilmington, DE; In-office 
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 + Benefits

Bookkeeper Description


Our client in the business funding solutions industry is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team in Wilmington, DE. You will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, optimizing processes, and contributing to the overall success of the company. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a small, serene office setting. To qualify, you must be comfortable with QuickBooks and be able to work independently. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to small businesses' financial success while being part of a dedicated and collaborative team.


Bookkeeper Responsibilities


•    Post transactions in QuickBooks Enterprise
•    Process AP and AR
•    Reconcile accounts and solve discrepancies 
•    Maintain general ledgers, monthly/yearly close processes
•    Oversee credit and merchant account reconciliations
•    Prepare bank reconciliations
•    Monitor general ledger
•    File monthly and quarterly taxes
•    Compile financial statements and Ad hoc reports
•    Collaborate with vendors, external accountants, and other institutions
•    Prepare and submit 1099 filings as necessary


Bookkeeper Qualifications


•    2+ years of bookkeeping experience required 
•    Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel required
•    Ability to work in the office is required
